Castle Creek Music has been an established music publisher with BMI for over twenty years and offers full music services for all film, television and radio needs.
We’ve created, produced and licensed thousands of pieces of music across a broad range of all genres and styles.
Our composers and music producers have created everything from authentic sounding Nat King Cole christmas songs to Aaron Copland like Red Pony suite. From Chopin like piano pieces to swinging tiki lounge, from killer bebop to pounding metal, or 50’s gospel to electronic ambient, there isn’t any style or genre that we can’t deliver. You need Nigerian Afro Funk from the 70’s? We’ve got you covered.
And while we do all film score, from orchestral to electronic, many of our clients come to us for specialized or niche music needs. Music that can’t be found elsewhere or
is to costly or unavailable to license. We pick up where many composers can’t deliver, in fact, many of clients are other composers.

Erik Godal
Composer & Music Producer
Classically trained at piano since the age of 5, studied music performance, music theory and orchestration at OOC and UCLA. Multi instrumentalist, guitar, bass and keyboards. Record producer and audio engineer.
Erik was signed to major record labels Mercury Records and Universal Music and went on to have a number of charting songs in the 90’s with the bands Blind Fish, Novacaine and The Blue Hawaiians.
In the late 90’s Erik began scoring for film and television, beginning with the hit tv series SpongeBob. This led to over 30 films and 2 television series, a Superbowl commercial, various national commercials, with clients such as National Geographic, Sony, Universal, MTV, History Channel, Nick, ABC and more.
This last year, Erik composed the themes and music for the National PUBG e-sports live and broadcast series event on OGN network. This coming year, Erik will be composing and is the music director for the new League of Legends Live! concert event for China’s TenCent and Riot Games. This will be featuring a live 80 piece orchestra stadium concert and theater event that will tour the world.
Erik composes in many different styles of music from orchestral to bebop jazz and rock. Ethnic music such as Latin and African. He has a state of the art 5.1 composing studio as well as world class full recording studio that can accommodate tracking live musicians.
Mike Penny
Music Supervisor
A highly experienced music industry professional with in-depth licensing, synchronisation and negotiating skills. Specialisms include working with frontline and deep catalogue repertoire and monetising the use of music across a variety of media including television, radio, feature films and digital platforms for entertainment, advertising and corporate uses. Expert at liaising with customers, labels, artists, and management.

Penny Ganz
Legal Counsel
Penny's love of music has threaded through her career. Originally trained in music, with a degree in music (Goldsmiths College), she gradually gravitated to the business side of the industry, working at EMI Records for many years. Here she became head of one of the business affairs departments and took the qualifications necessary to become a lawyer. In the mid nineties she moved on to one of the top London entertainment firms, The Simkins Partnership, before starting her own firm in 2001. With over 20 years in the business, she is able to bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to her clients. She is Castle Creek's legal counsel.
Jonny Boston
IP, Rights and Revenues
As a lawyer Jonny worked on over 50 feature films and he has produced 2 feature films himself "Going Off Big Time" (4 BIFA nominations) & "Re-inventing Eddie". He has experience in music, film, tv, and new media.
Expert in finance, securing rights and optmizing revenues from your project.
Jonny is experienced in negotiating all types of entertainment agreements, with a particular focus on end use -- sales, distribution, collection agreements, helping artists and music IP licensors to protecting your Rights and Maximise Revenues.
Alfonso G. Aguilar
Composer & Music Producer
Born and raised in Madrid where he studied music before honing his craft at the Berklee College of Music.
Alfonso won the World Soundtrack Award’s Public Choice Award for his score to the Oscar-nominated film Klaus, Netflix’s first original animated feature film directed by Sergio Pablos (Despicable Me) and starring the voice talents of Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones, Joan Cusack, and J.K. Simmons. In addition to being Oscar nominated for Best Animated Feature, Klaus won the BAFTA award for Best Animated Feature Film, won 7 Annie Awards including Best Animated Feature, and received 2 Goya Award Nominations including for Best Animated Film.
His most recent work includes writing the score for El Rey De Todo El Mundo, the latest musical film from 3-time Academy Award nominateddirector Carlos Saura, the Nickelodeon series Santiago of the Seas, and the Amazon series El Cid.
His other recent work includes writing the score to romantic comedy All Roads Lead to Rome, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Clara Cardinale, the thriller Money with Kellan Lutz and Jesse Williams and the scores to Perdida, You Shall Not Sleep and a number of international projects.
